Really really impressed! Ordered a Harry Potter inspired cake for a Birthday and they nailed it as expected. Tastes amazing, great value for money and the service was excellent. The only downside was that I had to share it with other people 😝 Will recommend and definitely order again.

We found The Couple That Bakes via Instagram and the cakes always looked amazing. I don’t think I saw wedding cakes though but thought I’d message Lauren anyways to see if it was something they offered. Lauren replied quickly advising they are stepping into the wedding cakes territory and would love to do our wedding cake. I sent her a couple pictures of what we were after and then we booked in and I’m SO glad we did. The cake was everything we wanted and tasted amazing. We went with a 2 tier cake with a chocolate layer and a vanilla layer. All the guests commented on how tasty it was and I’ve already been asked to send the name. The cake was a white buttercream cake with gold accents and I decided to add some sage green into the buttercream last minute so it fit into our theme. This was no problem at all for Lauren and she added it in perfectly. Cake was delivered in time to be on display for our wedding breakfast and looked better than we could have imagined. We bought our own topper and this suited the cake so well. We went straight onto our honeymoon after our wedding so we actually froze a couple of slices to enjoy once we got back and they still tasted so fresh. Thanks so much again, we can’t wait to use you again for all our future occasions 🤍

So back in March it was my daughters 3rd birthday and I honestly was NOT disappointed it was the best cake Iv ever had & tasted just as good as it looked! ! There was not a single piece of cake or cupcake left at the party it was unreal💕 I have just done my second order for a two tier cake coming in a few weeks for my Gender reveal and it was a no brainer to come back to the couple that bakes- just brilliant ❤️❤️

We have absolutely loved all of our recent Bakes! Lauren is so easy to work with and her designs never fail to amaze and Nathan always delivers the cakes safely🤍 plus the cakes taste so so so good!
